THE PAIRING OF LINGERIE AND JEWELLERY
I adore working with fellow entrepreneurs, and I try to support whenever, wherever, however. When Monica Lie of The Ordinary Co contacted me to work on a shoot together, I was really keen. Many things about the way Monica approached the topic made me say yes. She was professional, wrote really well, had a beautiful email signature and presented me a detailed moodboard of how she envisioned the shoot to be. It seemed like she had done all the work, and all I had to do was provide the lingerie. Of course I said yes. Thus when the discussion came to the venue, I immediately offered up my home, which was newly renovated and I felt would fit the mood of what Monica wanted to achieve. I hadn't even moved in, but I didn't care.
The days leading up to the shoot were filled with email discussions about what pieces I should feature. Luck ran out on me when my computer died on me, and I had to rely on Monica to do alot of the preparation work. She did them like a professional, and this filled me with nothing but good feelings about how the shoot would turn out. And I wasn't wrong.
