A party isn't a proper one without Jun around. Our human chilli padi, our pocket rocket, Jun inspires us to live bravely, protect fiercely and love dearly.
What would your completely honest personal profile say?
JH: I am the chick who listens to gangsta rap on the way to farmer’s market in yoga pants.
Change is good. That knowledge keeps me going when things get monotonously difficult to bear.
What do you still get excited for?
Life is constantly changing all around us. The economy expands and contracts, weather changes, people age, fashion and trends come and go, etc. Change is good. That knowledge keeps me going when things get monotonously difficult to bear. If life feels flat and lifeless, just turn off the mobile, netflix and computer and go learn something new.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
Your favourite simple pleasure in life?
JH: Day spent in the nature/park. Music. It’s the medicine for me. It makes my soul smile. Certain songs make me feel like a pretty fluffy cloud. The anticipation of a good meal, good film, good vacation. Anticipation of anything.
Share a life hack that you think every women should know?
JH: Firstly, good hats. They protect you from the rain, add a hint of style to every outfit, and they are perfect for bad hair days
Secondly, be friends with your seamstress. A nip here and a tuck there makes a world of difference
Remember to keep pride low, faith on high.
Oh, and remember to have fun along the way.
If you could call yourself 5 years ago and you had 1 minute, what do you tell yourself?
JH: Don’t get comfortable cos life will get crazy after you hit 30. Somewhere down the road you will be building your own dream so start crackin’ and preppin’. You will end up doing something you absolutely love so much that you would be happy to do it for free. Remember to keep pride low, faith on high. Oh, and remember to have fun along the way.
What are the good things that happened in 2016 for you?
JH: Better health. Now this is something people often take for granted. Anyone who has suffered ill health knows there is no greater blessing than to actually get through a day or to be able to do everyday tasks without pain.
