48 hours with our favourite muse, Garbo Zhu
We did it. We had Garbo Zhu in Singapore for 48 hours - our biggest muse yet - and honestly, it’s a memory we’ll treasure for a long time.
When we first met, Garbo surprised us. She’s more petite in real life, like XS petite. We had imagined her as a tall, 170cm goddess, but her fun-sized energy instantly made everything feel lighter and more relaxed.
Garbo is warm, authentic, and effortlessly confident. She gives off no high-maintenance vibes. She’s up for walks, trying new things, and brings a natural warmth wherever she goes.
The sweetest part was when we suggested dropping her off at her hotel so we could pick up the kids and then come back for dinner. She immediately said,
“It’s okay, why don’t I come pick up the kids with you? I want to see what your life is like here in Singapore.”

Day 1: Exploring the City Our Way
We started simple, with a breakfast at our favourite hidden gem - Dawn cafe. It was the perfect vibe to start the day!

From there, we wandered through some of our favourite spots in the city - small boutiques, artisanal studios, and heritage places that offer a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. We introduced her to some of our favourite local brands, met online friends, and prioritised good conversations and connection over agenda. There was no rush. Every stop and every conversation felt natural. It was about sharing what we love and letting her experience it.
Breakfast: Pastries and coffee at Dawn Kissa
Places: New Bahru, Chjimes, Orchard Road Belt
Lunch: Bep Mai
Dinner: Violet Oon
Day 2: Lingerie, Studio Moments, and Connections
Day two started in our studio, the heart of what we do. Garbo flew to Singapore to find the lingerie of her dreams, and it was a joy to watch her explore the pieces. She took her time, tried on what felt right, and gravitated towards styles that reflected this season of her life.
Her choices were playful, confident, and effortless. Comfort was key, but never at the expense of style or quality. Every piece she picked told a little story about who she is now - a mum who needed to show up in style, in comfort and in confidence.

The day then shifted to the meet and greet at our boutique. From quiet studio moments to a buzzing room of people, the energy was instant. Excitement, curiosity, and warmth filled the space, and Garbo navigated it all with ease. She spoke to everyone, laughed with everyone, and made the room feel personal and intimate even in the crowd. It was evident how much everyone loved her by the gifts and personal touches each one came with.

Looking Back
48 hours with Garbo were full, thoughtful, and memorable. It wasn’t just about what we showed her or where we took her. It was about the moments in between: shared experiences, authentic sharing and genuine curiosity about each of our lives.
Garbo has always captured hearts online, but seeing her in person - warm, fun, grounded, and confident - was something else entirely. She made the time feel effortless and full of heart.
It’s a reminder of why we do what we do. Creating experiences, pieces, and moments that feel personal, meaningful, and unforgettable. And now, we are the proud owners of two of her creations that went viral!

“Singapore, you have filled my heart with so much warmth and joy! When we first dreamed up this meet and greet, I was nervous I’d be walking into an empty room. But you all showed up and gave me the biggest boost of confidence and love I didn’t know I needed. You showed me true Singaporean hospitality by sharing your favorite foods, your own artwork, and grumpy mugs you’ve had for years and honestly, that got me. I will absolutely be back, and I cannot wait for us to meet again! 🧡” - Garbo Zhu
