Meet Nicolle. Nicolle is an integral member of the Perk by Kate family in Hong Kong. Her dedication, passion, and love for the brand shine through in everything she does, making her an incredible advocate for what we stand for.

Q:  What inspired you to join this photoshoot, and how does it reflect your personal journey?

Nicolle: I think what pushed me to do the shoot, remind myself that this shoot is definitely bigger than me. I knew that if I joined this shoot, that the representation of real women of any size is what is needed today. I want to participate in a shoot that other ladies would see and say to themselves “That is me” and “I feel seen”.

Q: How do you define confidence, and how does wearing Perk by Kate make you feel empowered?

Nicolle: Confidence is the belief in your own abilities and worth, feeling comfortable in your own skin. Wearing lingerie from Perk by Kate empowers me by enhancing my self-image and reminding me of my femininity. The quality and design make me feel beautiful and strong, allowing me to express my unique style and boost my confidence from within.

Q: ⁠What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone hesitant about embracing their unique beauty?

Nicolle: Embrace your unique beauty by celebrating what makes you different. Remember that imperfections are part of your story, and they contribute to your individuality. Surround yourself with positivity and people who uplift you, and practice self-love daily. Your uniqueness is what makes you truly beautiful!

Q: ⁠Can you share a moment when you felt most connected to your body and spirit?

Nicolle: I felt most connected to my body and spirit during a difficult breakup when I visited a close friend in Vietnam. I learned about the growth of a lotus and realized it symbolizes women: we emerge from hardships and blossom into beautiful beings.

Nicolle: Being part of the Perk by Kate community significantly impacts my self-love journey. It’s a space filled with real women, sharing real stories of different ages and sizes. This diversity fosters a sense of comfort and belonging, reminding me that anything is possible and that we all have unique beauty to celebrate.
